The archipelago of Zanzibar consists of over 50 islands located in the Indian Ocean, appx 2 miles from the coast of Tanzania. The largest island is Zanzibar which is the ideal holiday destination for all sun lovers, divers and snorkelers. The beaches are pure white with fine sand fringed by palms hanging over the beach and ocean. The sea is amazing with sparkling turquoise waters with abundant wildlife and coral reefs.

Visit the island's capital, Stone Town, which has a charming blend of alleys, bazaars and sun-bleached stone houses. The district is so well preserved and authentic that it has received a well-deserved place on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Zanzibar has weather seasons as Kenya and Tanzania, which means a light rainy season in October / November and a bit heavier in April / May. There are big differences between high and low tide on Zanzibar, the further south the greater the difference. Zanzibar has recently been discovered by divers and off the island's coastline are many coral reefs and wrecks to dive and snorkel. A good combination is a week of sun and sea at Zanzibar with a couple of days of Safari in Tanzania or in Kenya.
